If you are buying embroidery there are some important points to keep in mind. Embroidery is more valuable over time if it is signed and dated. Expect to pay a higher price for something with fine detail that required a higher amount of skill to produce. Also, if the piece has a stain, assume that it is permanent and expect to pay a lower price. You also need to carefully inspect any framing and decide if it will need to be redone. Poor frame techniques can damage embroidery, and glue could completely destroy it over time. Consider all of this while hunting for a bargain and calculating a reasonable price.Words of WisdomIf the shoe fits, get another one just like it.Find of the MonthThis month I have a free cross stitch pattern to share with you. It's a .pdf file from Charles Craft. Since we've been talking about shopping, it's a shopping bag or canvas tote bag perfect for students or teachers.
