Whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Solstice, New Year, or just want to send someone a smile, an embroidered greeting card is an expression from the heart.I have seen embroidered cards made in two different ways. You can have the embroidery on a small piece of fabric inserted into a paper frame, or you can do paper embroidery by puncturing the thread right through the paper of the card. Keep in mind that the threads (and fabric) could make the card thicker so that it might require additional postage. An envelope with a lining is best if you used any beads or really want to protect your work.
