Sewing Circle

The featured artist for June is the talented Artvani from India. Take a look at the dimensional detail on the Brazilian embroidery flower basket she made. It's absolutely beautiful!

To the Point

If you're a regular reader, you might remember that I'm getting married this month, so what better topic than wedding cross stitch ideas? I did not have time to make an embroidery for myself, but I used the ideas from one to print out a family tree that will be displayed at the wedding. Take a look at the other ideas for how to incorporate embroidery into a wedding or how to make an embroidered veil. Thanks to those of you who shared ideas!

Words of Wisdom

"Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years." ~ Simone Signoret

Find of the Month

When I do have some time, I might try this free wedding cross stitch sampler that I found. I like the rosebuds and lucky horseshoes!

You're Invited: Please share your stitching stories, ideas, words of wisdom, find of the month, or questions. Just reply to this newsletter and tell me what you think! I'd love to hear from you.
