Embroidery Tools

I am a beginner in embroidery. I am not sure about embroidery tools. What is the best thread for embroidery, and how do I know which stabilizer I should use?

Which embroidery method are you trying to do? You mention stabilizer, so I'm guessing you want to do machine embroidery. In that case, read the Guide to Selecting Machine Embroidery Thread and the Guide to Machine Embroidery Stabilizer. The type of thread, the weight of the thread, and the weight of the stabilizer depend on what you are embroidering. If you bought a pattern, it might also come with suggestions.
