Fancy Peacock Punch Needle

This is my only Punch Needle work that I have done. I am involved in many type of craft activities that I do only one of a type. My main hobby is paper quilling.
This peacock idea was from a picture I found in a an Indian Magazine. It was a paint book for kids. I made my own picture to suit me as I was only trying out a new craft and wanted something simple. I made it as a wall hanging for a kids room, so I used bright colours. The material is linen and I used Perl cotton thread.
