I started by doing cross stitch and hardanger, ages ago (I'm 47 now), but ever since I learned to to this kind of embroidery, I just can't stop!

Yes, I do like it. Thanks for sharing! Once you know the stitches, I think crewel embroidery is easier than the types that require an evenweave fabric and all the counting. It's definately more expressive.
