Hardanger Potpourri Sachet

My friend Georgina made me this gorgeous hardanger cushion which I have on permanent display. It is 11cm x 11cm. She said it took her a week to make.

I had never seen real hardanger embroidery until I saw her work and I was sooooo impressed by how gorgeous hardanger is. I don't think she realized herself what an impact hardanger embroidery has on the viewer. All my other friends have been amazed by just this little sachet. Even the simplest of patterns is incredibly pretty.

I contacted Nordic Needle and they said this exact pattern is no longer available, but this Small Purse Hardanger Kit features a similar design.
