Machine Eating Projects

I am currently working on a project for a student's parent but the machine is eating projects. I am embroidering lettering and it is cutting the material. I am using two layers of stablizer on the back and washaway on the top. Can any one help me?

Amy's Answer
Uh oh! I hope you are trying it on a sample of the fabric first and not the finished piece. The stabilizer should help. The next thing to check is the thread tension. It sounds like it is WAY too tight! Experiment with making the threads looser and see if that works.
