Ribbon Poinsettia Greeting Card

by Brenda
(Maryland)

I got the pattern for the ribbon poinsettias from the holiday bonus you sent last year. I used them on a greeting card for my mother. She loved it! It's July and she still has the card sitting out.

Thanks again for the great website. I love reading your newsletter each month.

I'm not sure what to make for a card this year. Does anyone know where to find a ribbon snowflake pattern?

Christmas in July
by: Amy

Thanks, Brenda! I'm glad you enjoy my website and newsletter. I think that's a great idea having the card out for Christmas in July!

For a snowflake, you could try drawing your own pattern outline. Then use the split stitch for the straight parts and the fern leaf stitch for the branches at the ends. A French knot at each end might look nice, too.
