Are you looking for embroidery sewing machine reviews? This is the place!

As I stated before, there are two types of machine embroidery, therefore when you compare sewing machines there are two categories to consider:

  • Free Motion Embroidery (FM)
    These are regular sewing machines that can be used for free motion embroidery. The different stitches and feet create the different designs as you move the fabric in your own pattern. This method is often used with crazy quilting.

  • Digital Embroidery (D)
    These are specialized machines that automatically embroider images or text from electronic design files.
How to choose?
You can purchase a machine that performs one or both of these functions. Some people have limited storage space, so they choose a model that can do both. Some people do a lot of regular sewing and prefer not to wear out a specialized embroidery machine on hemming garments.
